Who Qualifies

Riverwood Commons serves:

  • Seniors age 55 and older

  • Qualified individuals with disabilities (regardless of age)

  • Income-eligible applicants

This is an independent living community. Assisted living or medical services are not provided on-site.

In accordance with policy, only service animals are permitted—cats and dogs are not allowed.

Affordable Living That Makes Sense

Riverwood Commons is an income-eligible community governed by Section 42 housing guidelines.

We proudly offer:

  • Income-based rent tiers (40%, 50%, and 60% AMI)

  • Security deposit: One month’s rent

  • One-year lease terms

  • All utilities included:

    • Electricity

    • Gas

    • Water

    • Sewer

    • Trash

    • Heat

  • HUD vouchers accepted

  • No application fee

With utilities included and free laundry, residents often save significantly each month.
